Nike has unveiled the new Manchester City away kits. The jersey features a dark blue collar with a lighter blue V-shape insert, and a body of blue bands. This eye catching design is inspired in the blue uniforms the club wore 15 years ago, as they returned to First Division in a Second Division playoff against Gillingham; this would be a key stepping stone for the club’s recovery, which eventually saw them rising to being Premier League champions twice in recent years. Inside the back of the neck is a dark blue triangle with the inscription “We are City” in yellow.

Did you like Manchester City’s new kit? Do you think Nike did a good job?
