Bolton Wanderers third kit by Macron was officially launched today, and at first glance it seems to be an effortless work by the italian brand. However, the purpose of the shirt is beyond an elaborated design, it is to pay an homage to war veterans, specially those who have lost a limb in service and are supported by charity group Blesma. This is the actual reason for the uniform’s green military tone, featuring the “Lest we forget” phrase as watermark and an excerpt from the poem “For the fallen” by Laurence Binyon in the inner neck. Part of the profits for selling the jersey (only 1000 of them will be avaiable for purchase) will go to Blema, while the players will wear this kit in some matches across the season.
